Just Shadows in this World

We are all just shadows in this world; silhouettes of Who We Really Are. In this photo, you can see Kate and Me only because the sun shines from behind and casts our image on the wall. Whether the sun is there or whether it isn't, makes no difference. We are there just the same.

Remember this the next time you think that I am not there; that your loved one is not there. Once in a great while conditions are right and we can Come Through to reveal ourselves to you ... but no matter what, we are there beside you. Always.

Love,

Jack 🐾

I Am Not Far Away At All

You think that I am far from you?

I feel your thoughts, I know your heart.

I am not far away at all. I'm closer than you would believe!

You think if you stop grieving that you will somehow lose me.

You're afraid that if you love again,

That you will grow away from me.

Well you're not going anywhere!

Your soul has grown right into mine

Spun together;

A tapestry

Of our life and love.

You cannot lose what has become

A vital part of you.

Someday you'll see that I was with you all along the way.

You'll then regret the time you spent

Wasting many thoughtful tears

And grieving for so many years!

But while you cannot see that now,

You'll find out what you think you lost

You never lost at all.

I am merely gone from view.

I am here;

I am here beside you.

Waiting for the Chosen Time

When you will see and touch and feel me

As I run into your arms again.

The Cure for Separation Anxiety is to be Together Again

We feel as bad about leaving you as you felt about leaving us. When you are this upset, it's kind of easy to forget
that we'll be together again.
But we will. I promise.

He's Been Gone From Here Almost a Year

Have you experienced the loss of a pet and the loss of a dear family member within days,
or even hours, of each other?

When I crossed the Rainbow Bridge in the wee hours of August 1, 2014, it was no
surprise to me that Kate's father would be crossing with me nine hours later.
When he lived on the earth, he really had no use for dogs. He didn't understand that
I was a thinking, feeling being just like him. The moment that he crossed over,
he became just like me! He recognized who I really was. He saw who he really was too.
We met at the edge of the Rainbow and we walked over it together.

Sometimes it happens this way. None of us can do it alone. The moment we leave
this world, God makes sure that we are not alone. Not ever.
